02_This clip shows how I set up Character Creator, making use of the images I made in Photoshop. I try to tweak the likeness to a maximum in CCC itself to avoid topology mistakes/errors later. Once tweaking in CC has found its limits I switch to ZBrush
01_ This is the first movieclip I'm posting on the CC Contest 2020. I always start off with collecting the correct references and placing them in a correct anatomical position. This will help define the sculpt later on.
05_Finetuning textures through ZBrush and TexturingXYZ
In this video I demostrate how I build up the realtime haircards. First I generate strands from Robert Ramsay's Hairstrand Designer tool. In 3DSMax I map these to cards which I bind to splines that are manually placed on the scalp. I tweak by rotating and
first testing of hairstrands in iClone - still WIP but satisfied so far....
Here I will keep track of developing my character for the CC Digital Human Contest 2020 #wip
For me this competition is not just about scultping a character - obviously Reallusion and its partners are making this easier and accessable to a larger group of artists.
For me it's about exploring the artistic boundaries of Realtime technology - centered around humanoid models
